La Isla

I don't really know how to start this, but well, I have decided to create a new blogspot account. I'm not quite sure if I would be able to maintain this, but I would definitely try  to update it as much as I can. So yeah, here is my first post.

October 20, I was awakened by a call from Lurlyn. I knew what the call was for, so I decided not to take it, and just go back to sleep instead. But guess what, she was really persistent. My phone kept ringing, and I found it hard to sleep again, so I decided to take the call. And this happened next.

They kidnapped me and brought me to this paradise, Siquijor Island. It was actually my first time to visit the place, and I barely know how things work in there. And given the short (literally short) time to prepare, I only had two pairs of clothes with me and only about 1000 pesos in my pocket.

And oh, I forgot to mention, I was with Suzmita, King, Cate, Minhak, Clark (Lurlyn's bf), and the rest were Portal staff. It was actually a bit awkward for us since we weren't really close with those guys, but they were actually good. We had dinner together and enjoyed the night by the sea with a bon fire. 'Twas really great!

Had a very quick photo op before the sun sets. Waaaah! The place is just so terrific!

But of course, the night wouldn't end without playing our favorite card game, monopoly deal.

So here's a fair share of what happened on our second day. We toured around the entire island of Siquijor, literally the entire island. We went to the famous Balete, where we had our feet bitten by fish (fish spa as they say), then we went to this place (I really can't remember the name) where we enjoyed the majestic scenery of the falls, well minus the over a hundred steps going up back to the highway.

And our last stop was at this famous beach (sorry but I really can't remember name). Oh well, I could have really enjoyed the trip if not for my freakin' period. But anyway, I really do need that getaway.

We had a long trip back to the port, and I don't want to elaborate it anymore. Anyhow, this was our view at the port when we were about to aboard on the ship. It was actually a fascinating scenery, I got to feed my soul and I got to enjoy my sembreak.
